How it works

Simple, secure and flexible

We fit in with the way you already work. Tell us what you need and send your files via the route that suits you.

  1. Get in touch

Use the contact form, call 0330 223 2813 or email info@jatranscription.com. Tell us the service you need, your deadline and any template or instructions.

  2. Send your files securely

We will send you a secure upload link, or you can share a private Dropbox, Google Drive or OneDrive folder with us. Please do not send patient information by ordinary email unless your own policy allows it.

  3. We confirm receipt

We acknowledge your files, confirm the turnaround and flag anything that could affect it, such as audio quality or several speakers.

  4. We do the work

Your report is transcribed, reviewed or validated by our UK-based team and proofread before it is returned.

  5. Receive your report

We return it by your preferred route, usually as a Word document. Hard copies can be posted for a small fee.

Files we accept

All common digital audio formats, including recordings from specialist dictation devices and smartphones. If you are unsure whether we can use your format, just ask.

Templates, guidelines and special instructions can be sent with the audio.

Security and confidentiality

Your files are handled by our team in the UK. Transfers use encrypted connections and client data is held on our own secure storage in the UK.

JA Transcription is registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ZA288589). Confidentiality or non-disclosure agreements can be signed on request. Read our privacy policy and terms of business.
